Children’s Ministry

At Coventry Baptist Church we see it as a privilege to minister to your children ages newborn through fifth grade.  It is exciting to see changes in each child as they grow older and learn more about God and the Bible.  It is our prayer that you will join us in forming a partnership that will affect our children’s future and especially their eternity. Here at Coventry, we offer different programs to minister to your children.

Sunday School:  This is a time that we all come together to learn about God’s Word through the stories of the Bible.  Each class is graded to public school levels and lessons are geared to reach children at their abilities.

Team Kids:  Sunday nights at 5:00PM.  This is a unique blend of activity and discipleship, which takes place through interactive learning.

Children’s Choir:  Our children’s choir meets Wednesdays at 7:00PM.  Music is a wonderful and exciting way to teach God’s word to children.  Our children sing monthly in church.

Music Ministry

The adult choir performs, on the average, every other Sunday morning.  They perform a Christmas and Easter Cantata as well as provide music for other special occasions.

The youth choir performs musicals in the spring, sings in church monthly, and performs at special functions.  This past summer the youth choir sang at a Fort Wayne Wizards game.  The youth choir also participates in community service programs.  Additionally, we have a children's choir, which sings on Sunday nights and performed a Christmas musical.
